The official 15th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul (MBFWI) will take place on October 12-16 entirely on digital platforms with the support of Türkiye Promotion Group (TTG). MBFWI announced the lineup of designer labels and designers that will present their collections.

The designer labels and designers showcasing their collections during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul include Belma Özdemir, Ceren Ocak, Cihan Nacar, Çiğdem Akın, DB Berdan, Emre Erdemoğlu, Gökhan Yavaş, Hakaan Yıldırım, Karma – Mehmet Emiroğlu, Engin Ekinci, Seydullah Yılmaz, Kith&Kin, Mercedes-Benz presents Özlem Süer, Mehtap Elaidi, Meltem Özbek, Mert Erkan, MİİN by Kadir Kılıç, Murat Aytulum, Museum Of Fine Clothing – Eda Güngör, Natalie Kolyozyan, Nedo by Nedret Taciroğlu, New Gen, Nihan Peker, Niyazi Erdoğan, Özgür Masur, Özlem Kaya, Raşit Bağzıbağlı, , Simay Bülbül, Sudi Etuz, T.A.G.G. – Gökay Gündoğdu, Tuba Ergin, Tuvanam, and Y Plus by Yakup Biçer.

In addition to supporting Turkish fashion design, this season MBFWI also aims to promote the cultural and historical heritage of Istanbul on global fashion platforms through the digital fashion week. Accordingly, the fashion shoots of the digital event will take place at Galataport İstanbul and Tophane-i Amire Culture and Arts Center until August 27.

This season also sees a first in terms of an exclusive collaboration with Vogue Runway and Business of Fashion, two global leaders in fashion publication. Regarding the sourcing aspect of the event, JOOR, one of the world’s leading digital wholesale platforms, will enable the collections to be introduced to global buyers. MBFWI’s exclusive partner JOOR, that brings together 8.600 designer labels with 200K buyers from 144 countries, will carry out international sales of designers' collections.

The first ever digital fashion week will be accessible via the virtual event space at www.mbfwistanbul.com. In addition to showcasing designers’ collections, the event calendar will also include inspiring panel sessions to offer alternative perspectives to today’s fashion world and to shed light on different aspects of fashion, as well as podcasts, with more details to follow soon.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul is organized by Istanbul Ready-Made Garment and Apparel Exporters' Association (IHKIB), and endorsed by Türkiye Promotion Group (TTG), which is founded pursuant to the Turkish Ministry of Trade legislation within the body of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), as well as Fashion Designers Association (MTD), United Brands Association (BMD), and Istanbul Moda Academy (IMA).
